PRODUCT INFO-

Ajrakh hand-block printed with natural dyes and Kantha embroidery hand-stitched throughout.

Craft-

1. Kantha is a centuries-old quilted embroidery that originated in Bangladesh. It is executed on layers of vintage sarees that are stitched together with hand-done running stitches.

2. Ajrakh block printing, practiced in Ajrakhpur, is a centuries-old art form from Gujarat, India, that involves intricate geometric and floral designs hand-stamped onto fabric using natural dyes.

Tamarind seed powder is mixed with alum and then boiled for one hour to produce a printing paste for the red areas of the design.

NOTE- There might be very slight difference in the red colour or block print pattern as every piece is one of a kind.
